The Winchester MP was asked about how he decided he wanted to be an MP, and the demands of being a constituency MP alongside being Public Health Minister.
He also discussed how he was impressed that Cllr Caroline Horrill, in her role as Leader of Winchester City Council, had gripped the issues around Silver Hill and the city centre regeneration, as well as sharing his thoughts on discussions with local businesses about how the High Street continues to evolve.
They also discussed Steve's work on a potential knowledge park, which could possibly come online when the MOD disposes of the Sir John Moore Barracks site at Flowerdown, which the MP said could provide a fantastic opportunity for high-quality commerce on the outskirts of the city.
