Steve Brine recently met up with a fantastic local organisation designed to support the needs of people and families in Winchester affected by Mental Health problems.

Befrienders of Winchester is currently in contact with 70 Service users and 40 volunteer Befrienders, and are linked in with various mental health organisations and a support team, and Steve Brine met with Befriender Colin Joyce to find out more about the organisation, and discuss the ways on which mental health issues can be tackled.

Steve Brine said: "I was delighted to meet with Colin, and this was an important session as we discussed how to make local businesses more aware of the real positive impact of this service.

"I am pleased that Befrienders have spoken to Winchester BID and will be following their progress with much interest."
