Cllr Godfrey Olson and Cllr Judith Grajewski were on hand to discuss local matters with Steve and shoppers at the popular shopping arcade, and there was no shortage of residents who took a few minutes to stop and chat.
Speaking on his way back to Winchester, Steve said: "I love coming over to Chandler's Ford as often as possible, and it was great to have such a blend of unequalled experience and fresh dynamism with Godfrey and Judith today.
"As ever, people approached us with a huge range of issues, from the very local, to the national, and of course at this time, the international.
"I was sorry to have to wrap up before lunchtime, but cannot wait to pop over again as soon as I can."
