Steve Brine's 2017 constituency Summer Tour drew to a close this lunchtime with a street surgery in Kings Worthy.

The Winchester MP set up outside the Post Office on London Road, run by the popular Kaura family, over the lunchtime and met a number of constituents who stopped to chat or raise issues important to them. That ranged from the economy and taxation to local broadband and, of course, the adjacent Cart & Horses junction.

Steve said; "This year has been great fun and of course we really never stopped after the General Election in June. We've covered a huge amount of ground and it was nice to finish in Kings Worthy with a street surgery outside the Post Office.

"Summer Tour is one of the best things I do in this job and we are already starting to plan where we might take it in 2018. If you have a suggestion, please drop me a line."

Constituents should note, Kings Worthy Post Office will be closed half-day - at lunchtime - on Wednesday's from this week.
