Steve Brine took his daughter, Emily, to Henry Beaufort School on Saturday 12th July as they spent the afternoon with the volunteers and members of Winchester Gym Club.

WGC manager, Patricia Francis, and team of dedicated coaches have worked hard throughout the year with their 170 members to give children of all abilities the opportunity to enjoy gymnastics and progress their skills to competition level.

Steve had been asked to hand out the prizes, and the winners of this year's trophies were Sarah Kettley, Gymnast of the Year; Ava Kinninmonth, The Jo Wesson Award for dedication and determination, Amy Brown, most improved gymnast; and Christian Whitlingum, hardest working gymnast.

Patricia said: "Winchester Gym Club would like to thank Steve Brine for his interest in the event, all the parents for their continued support of the club and Henry Beaufort School for use of their premises."

Steve added: "I loved coming back to Henry Beaufort to meet up with Winchester Gym Club, and what an afternoon it was. I was so impressed by the talent on show, and as Patricia says, the support of both parents and Henry Beaufort is absolutely key here."
