Steve Brine met with local members of The University of The Third Age (U3A) as they took in a tour of the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 12th September.
The Questors group, led by Penny Goater, learnt about the history of the palace and its various buildings, as well as special Parliamentary traditions.
Steve, who was able to take some time to meet the 20-strong group in Westminster Hall, said: "I am so glad that the Questors came up to the House and were able to have what so many people tell me is a pretty unforgettable experience.
"I know that many of them felt inspired, and plan to return in future, and I am sure they will be telling friends and family across Winchester & Chandler's Ford how interesting this unique experience was."
