Steve joined inaugural Worthys Festival organisers in celebrating after the Winchester MP secured a whopping £1000 grant from Tesco to help fund the event.

The festival, which is a joint venture between Kings Worthy, Headbourne Worthy and Abbott's Worthy is due to take place in mid-September, and will last for nine days.

Tesco store manager Julian Griffiths said: "My team and I are always looking for ways to work with the local community and felt that the Worthys Festival was one of the best ways to do so."

Steve added: "The family and I are really looking forward to the festival this summer and hope it becomes a regular fixture in the local calendar."
