Steve Brine on Zoom with Winchester Rotary

Members of Winchester Rotary were treated to a ‘behind closed doors’ tour inside Parliament’s corridors of power this evening by their MP, Steve Brine.

As well as the tour members sat down with Steve in the House of Commons Library as they put their questions to him.

Speaking this morning, after last night’s event, Steve said; “Winchester Rotary aren’t known for being quiet and they certainly lived up to their reputation, I hardly got a breather from their questions.

It was fantastic, to yet again welcome constituents back to Parliament, albeit virtually!”

In addition to Rotary, young members from Winchester Rotaract joined the call.

This was the latest of Steve’s current series of Visit Westminster Virtually event.

Hampshire Chronicle column - Farewell

Thursday, 30 May, 2024
My final column is perhaps more reflective than usual but I hope you will forgive me as I prepare to formally step down as Parliament is formally Dissolved ahead of the General Election on July 4. Fourteen years ago, in May 2010, I was first elected as our MP.
