Steve Brine dropped into St Faith’s CofE Primary School this afternoon on what was a very special day for the St Cross based school.
The MP met with the staff and students on a visit which had been postponed several times due to Covid lockdowns and coincided with elections to the new School Council.
Mr Brine caught up with headteacher, Richard Fountain, and answered questions put by two Year 6 students in front of the whole school assembly before voting began.
Steve said; “It was great to drop by St Faith’s and hopefully explain why elections, at every level, are important.
"This really is a shining example of an outstanding small school in our city under energetic leadership. I really enjoyed seeing some of the improvements they've made to the building since I was last there and especially the 'question time' session with pupils.”
