Member of Parliament for Chandler's Ford, Steve Brine, joined a host of guests from the local community for the much awaited, grand re-opening of Thornden Hall at Thornden School.
3 years ago Thornden Hall, which first opened in 2003, suffered catastrophic structural damage and had to close, much to the disappointment of the staff and students at the school. Now the hall has been given a new lease of life following a refurbishment that cost in excess of one million pounds.
After receiving a tour of the hall, Steve said; "An absolute privilege to this evening evening to attend the re-opening of Thornden Hall at Thornden School in Chandler’s Ford. Well done to everyone - students and staff - involved."
With a host of events lined up, Thornden Hall will host its first school production, since the closure, in February 2022.
