Winchester and Chandler's Ford MP, Steve Brine, met with members of the Wessex Branch of the Dying in Dignity group at a session in Thornden Hall. The group aim to help keep assisted dying on the agenda in your community.
Members of the group used the opportunity to share their views on assisted suicide, with many sharing personal stories and experiences including that of family members.
Steve Brine MP said; “I am grateful to members, and constituents, of the Wessex Branch for letting me into their meeting and talking so frankly about their experiences to help inform me on this side of what is an extremely difficult debate.
“I will go on listening to all sides ahead of the issue one day, perhaps, returning the House of Commons.”
