At the end of English Tourism Week, MP Steve Brine and his dog Monty visited the Morn Hill Campsite today.
Braving the (almost) April showers, they had a look around the site which has had a £2m investment and recently re-opened. They expect to full this Easter weekend as the season gets underway in earnest.
Steve says; "This is not a world I know much about so it was quite a revelation to see what goes on. Thanks to the team, and to Nick Lomas (Director General of the Caravan and Motorhome Club) especially for showing me around. They've clearly invested heavily here at Morn Hill so fingers crossed for a great season ahead. May the sun shine!"
Nick Lomas, Director General of the Caravan and Motorhome Club said, “We were delighted to welcome Steve Brine MP to our Winchester Club Campsite to celebrate English Tourism Week. Winchester campsite is a firm favourite with Club members and we were grateful that Mr Brine took time to visit us and see how the Club, and our members, make a significant impact on the rural economy, helping to support local businesses and communities.”
