The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Fruit, Vegetables and Horticulture welcomed experts, industry leaders and friends of the sector to the Houses of Parliament.

Among the attendees were a number of familiar faces, including Downton Abbey's Jim Carter and Winchester University's former Chancellor, Alan Tichmarsh.

Steve Brine, who as MP for Winchester is a long time supporter of the sector, attended the event off the back of his recent visit to Chelsea Flower Show. Mr Brine said : "This a super useful event bringing the gardening and horticulture sector together. It was nice to see Hilliers there also. Hampshire well represented."
