Steve Brine has met up with the new Chief Inspector of the police for Winchester, Korine Bishop, following the departure of Ch Insp Jon Turton.

The MP caught up with Korine at the Winchester Cathedral Refectory before heading out into the city centre for a talk and walk. The duo discussed concerns over shoplifting, anti-social behaviour and continued issues at Kings Walk.

Steve said : "Really pleased to meet up and have a walkabout with our new Chief Inspector of the police. There's a really noticeable step-change in police presence and approach since Donna Jones took over and this Government delivered on its promise of 1000s of new police officers. I look forward to working with you Korine."
