The Managing Director of South Western Railway, Claire Mann, met with the Winchester and Chandler's Ford MP, Steve Brine at Winchester Railway Station.
Steve organised the meeting to discuss the rail company's performance and pass on a huge range of issues raised by commuters, residents and organisations in Winchester.
This included the ongoing confusion around taxis, following the the changes last Summer which has given Wintax sole access to the ranks directly outside the station entrance. It comes off the back of the MP meeting frustrated hackney carriage drivers.
Mr Brine also raised illegal parking at the front of the station, the caged off area around the trees on Station Approach, ongoing industrial action and multi-skilling all South Western Railway staff.
Following the meeting the MP added : "We packed a lot into an hour and thank you to constituents who stopped to chat with us both about their experiences of travelling by train."
