All Saints Church of England School visited Parliament on Wednesday 17th July for a tour of the House and met up with their MP, Steve Brine.
Following their tour of Parliament, Steve met up with children and staff from the Highcliffe school, and hosted a lively Q&A session, which covered Michael Gove's education changes, why Steve wanted to become an MP, and how he wants Winchester to improve.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "I visited All Saints earlier this year and made the offer to have them visit Parliament so was delighted to actually have them here.
"I hope the children found it really interesting and learnt a little bit about their heritage and the history of Parliament. We have agreed they will try to bring a group of students every year and I will always make time to meet up with them when they are here."
