Steve Brine says 'we have the opportunity to vote for change - to elect a new MP and a new Government.'
Steve Brine is a local family man. He lives in the heart of constituency with his wife Susie and their two-year old daughter Emily.
He says; “I didn’t move here to contest this seat – we’ve lived here for many years; we chose Winchester as a great place to live and bring up our family.
“For the past three years I have been the Conservative Candidate. I have met thousands of people on doorsteps and even at the supermarket doing our weekly shop. I’ve worked really hard to focus on the issues that matter to our area; fighting for the future of our health service, my top local priority - protecting this area from over-development, recognising threats posed by climate change and speaking up for local services.
During the next few weeks, Steve will be campaigning across the new constituency covering Winchester & Chandler’s Ford and hopes to meet as many people as possible. He adds; “I will keep people updated via this website, my twitter feed and on Facebook – this is going to be a truly connected election! I will serve this area as a hard-working and dedicated local MP but I want to do that as part of a new progressive Government led by David Cameron. Please remember when you vote, we need a Conservative MP in Winchester & Chandler’s Ford if we are going to change the government at Westminster.”
