The annual Winchester Walk was in aid of local homeless charities this year and despite the cold was a huge success.
Winchester MP Steve Brine supported this year’s Winchester Walk (on Sunday 9 May 2010).
The annual event, which this years started outside the Cathedral and was to raise funds for the Trinity Centre, Winchester Night Shelter and Keystone, was well supported by local people.
12, 5 and 1.5 mile route options meant there was a chance for everyone to take part and help raise much needed funds.
Steve says; “We did the walk last year and were delighted to be able to drop in and support the 2010 event. I have always gone out of my way to support Michelle and the team at Trinity Winchester so it was one of the first things in my diary after the election.”
The Winchester Walk is an annual charity sponsored walk event organised by The Rotary Club of Winchester.
