Steve joined Winchester's very own Rob Carslake at Millets on Saturday August 21st as the 22 year-old economics graduate raised funds for a mammoth bike ride across Europe. On September 1st, Rob will begin an epic 4,500km journey back home from Romania. The journey is expected to take 45 days, with Rob averaging around 100kms per day. Speaking after chatting to Rob for a Steve Brine TV webfilm, Steve said: “It is absolutely fantastic that Rob is taking time out after graduating to embark on such a project. The amount of planning involved to make this trip a reality is extremely hard work, and that’s without even mentioning the sheer physical nature of this challenge. “As ever, I am more than happy to support Naomi House, and I am delighted to back Rob in any way I can. I urge local people to simply send him some well-wishing messages or donate for this excellent cause via Rob’s justgiving webpage.” You can support Rob by donating to www.justgiving.com/Rob-Carslake, and send him a ‘good luck’ message via [email protected].
