Steve Brine joined Miff and the team at the opening of the new Bangkok Brasserie on Monday 27th September, raising a huge amount for a local charity.

Miff had very kindly agreed to donate some of the takings from the restaurant’s opening night in its new premises at 33 Jewry Street. As a result, Winchester Breast Cancer Support Group has now been awarded £1,350.

Steve said: “As if having the opportunity to visit Miff’s new restaurant wasn’t good enough, I am over the moon at the amount of money raised for Winchester Breast Cancer Support Group. I worked with the group closely over the Strawberry Tea which Sally Taylor also supported last month, and I can say it was a very emotional phone call when I rang to give them the good news.

“Of course, now they have some big decisions to make over what to do with the money, but what a lovely headache for them to have!”
