Good Hair Days in Southgate Street celebrated their first year with a bumper charity day on Saturday 23rd October, raising money for Breast Cancer UK.
Steve popped in to talk to staff about his work chairing the All-Party Group for Breast Cancer, and was delighted to find an enormous cheque for £1150 being donated to Breast Cancer UK.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: “I was more than happy to contribute a Tea for Two at the House of Commons prize, and I was over the moon to see how much Good Hair Days raised with the generosity of many local businesses.
“All my congratulations go to the team, not only for a successful year, but for organising such a great day, and very kindly donating the entire day’s takings.”
