Steve and young Emily joined villagers planting a variety of shrubbery at Easton Village Hall on Saturday 6th November.
Remarked upon to Steve that afternoon as being very ‘Big Society’, the day enabled the new hall to fulfil a requirement of the planning permission which was granted prior to the building work.
Local residents have been asked to sponsor plants, which included Cornus sanguine and Potentilla, and to muck in digging holes, with the estimated cost around £800.
