Winchester Cathedral became the focal point for local residents as the city came together to mark Remembrance Sunday.
The service, led by the Dean of Winchester, was attended by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Dame Mary Fagan, the mayor, and many leading military figures. They were joined by Steve Brine MP, local councillors and hundreds of local people who came to pay their respects.
Steve said: “Despite freezing cold and icy drizzle there was an amazing turnout from the public. This annual sombre occasion serves to remind us of the sacrifices that so many have made.”
