Steve joined Royal Mail for his annual early shift on Friday 17th December as the Winnall depot staff continue to work through the Christmas rush.
Taking along a big tub of mince pies, he chatted with staff as they sorted the mail so it was ready to be delivered to thousands of homes across the constituency.
Speaking on his way to an engagement with local NHS staff, he said: “I really look forward to helping out at the Winnall depot each Christmas and I might even be getting a little bit quicker at the sorting, although I doubt they will be making me an offer anytime soon."
Steve has joined the team each Christmas for the past three years.
“Our postmen and women do such a fantastic job, in all weathers, and it never hurts to pop along and say thank you armed with mince pies at this time of year.”
