Steve Brine started the annual Naomi House Santa Fun Run, held at Winchester Rugby Club, for the second year running, on Sunday 5th December.
The Winchester & Chandler’s Ford MP was delighted to attend the fundraiser, in which over £10,000 was raised by over 130 runners of all ages.
Steve said: “You never need much convincing to come out and support Naomi House, and I know that young William enjoyed the morning too.”
The money raised will go towards jacksplace, the section of the hospice which cares for young people aged 14-26.
Events assistant Verity Groom said: “I was really pleased. It was a really good event and everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. I had a lot of positive feedback after the event and it’s something we are looking to make a tradition of. We’re hoping it’s going to keep getting bigger and bigger.”
