Steve Brine visited Southampton Airport on Thursday 23rd October as Robert Goodwill joined him in taking a tour of the busy aviation hub.
Mr Goodwill, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, and Mr Brine were taken around the site by Chief Executive Dave Lees, and the group discussed future plans and concerns from local people.
Steve Brine has been working with local residents over some noise issues in and around Otterbourne, and was able to touch on the new Memorandum of Understanding being worked up between Winchester City Council and the airport.
Mr Brine said: "This was an extremely useful meeting, and it was great to hear about the airport's plans over the coming years under its new owners. I know Robert Goodwill was very interested to learn more, and my thanks to Mr Lees and his team for making us so welcome."
