The sites at Alresford and Twyford are among 18 stations across the county that will shut in the next six years following a review by police chiefs.
There is also an indication that Police Headquarters in Winchester and the new Alpha Park site in Chandler's Ford may be lost, with staff at the Romsey Road site redloyed elsewhere.
Steve said: "I was really sad to hear Alresford and Twyford are proposed for closure. They have both been part of these communities for many years.
"However, I think we have to see these changes from two perspectives. People are simply not using police stations as they once did, if at all, but also in the context of the incredibly difficult financial situation Hampshire constabulary face.
"The alternative to this is a reduction of police officers or PCSO's on the street and coalition Ministers have made it very clear we want forces to protect the front line. The Force have given very clear assurances on alternative sites being secured in both Alresford and Twyford before any change is even begun and I will be working to hold them to exactly that over coming years."
