Steve Brine attending the passing out parade as new recruits came to the end of their initial six month's Army training at Sir John Moore Barracks, Flowerdown, on Friday 30th September.
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP took in a tour of the barracks, before witnessing the parade and meeting with recruits and their families in the mess.
Steve said: "I was extremely honoured to be asked here today, and I was so impressed at the calibre of the recruits, who have been through so much to reach this point.
"The qualities these young people display really are an inspiration, and I was delighted to be able to talk to so many of them, and offer my congratulations on getting through what must have been a gruelling training period."
