Steve and his family spent the afternoon of Sunday 11th September at the Bighton Fete, just outside Alresford, as the village was blessed with sunshine.
Amid recent rain, there had been fears that the fete would fall victim to much of the recent inclement weather we have been experiencing, but the village was delighted to enjoy an afternoon of fine weather, which kicked off after Steve opened proceedings.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "I wasn't the only one who was so glad we got some sunshine, I know Emily in particular was too! As ever, the village did itself proud today, and this is an occasion in the year I would really hate to miss."
