Nurses climb Kilimanjaro for Magic Wand Appeal

Steve Brine is backing four nurses from Winchester A&E as they prepare to embark on an challenge of a lifetime, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Vicky McMillan, Rachael McLaughlin, Bernie Hampton and Helen Holloway, 31, of Badger Farm, are doing it to raise money for the hospital's Magic Wand Appeal, which aims to revamp the children's ward.

Starting on 1st December, they will spend nine days on the mountain, which reaches a summit of 5895m.

Steve Brine said: "This will no doubt be an unforgettable experience, and it is all for such a great cause. The ladies must be super fit and I wish them all the very best of luck!"
