This time, Steve and the team were joined by local resident John Wesley, who was able to show Steve a fascinating work on the village based on the Domesday Book.
After lunch at The Plough, the team then set out and covered a huge amount of ground in the pretty village, picking up casework on local issues and discussing issues such as the economy and Europe.
Steve said: "Such an interesting afternoon, and time extremely well spent. I had some very interesting conversations with a variety of people, including some residents who have been in the village for decades and were able to give me a real sense of perspective.
"Useful to meet the new Chairman of Sparsholt Parish Council, Sue Wood, who wanted to touch base on a number of issues including the proposed wind turbine and aneorobic digestion plant up at Sparsholt College."
