Local MP Steve Brine took a Government Minister to Henry Beaufort in Harestock on Thursday 23rd February.

Minister for Schools Nick Gibb met staff and governors to find out more about the school before meeting students and answering questions on government policy, before taking in a tour of the campus led by Student Leaders and Ambassadors.

Steve Brine said: "I thought the questions Nick was posed were excellent, and it is always a breath of fresh air to be able to chat with young people like this. Personally, I was delighted we were able to take a look at a small class dealing with students on the autism spectrum, and we also spent a great deal of time in the new technology suite.

"The students could not have been more professional and pleasant, and are a real credit to Sue and her team."
