Steve Brine has welcomed news that Winchester City Council is to buy up to seven houses in Micheldever and rent them to local people.
The homes are situated in Dever Close, and the MP is delighted to hear that this is pressing ahead. He said: "This really is good news, and while I know this has been a long time in coming, will provide valuable council housing which is badly needed across my constituency.
"Whenever I have discussed council house provision with constituents, I have heard loud and clear that there really is a local need, and this is excellent timing."
