The fete, which lasted throughout the afternoon, was jam-packed with events including five-a-side football, tag rugby, a mini-Olympics, tug-of-war and a dog show.
One of the highlights for Steve was meeting with Cornelius Fudge, AKA the Minister of Magic (and in real life organiser Robert Hardy), as well as watching the crown parade and the crowning of the Fete Queen.
Steve said: "It really was fantastic to see so many people here having fun, and despite the chaotic weather we have had recently, the gods were smiling on us this afternoon.
"In the course of my job I regularly meet with Ministers, but I can safely say the Minister of Magic was truly unforgettable!
"As ever, I am sure a lot of money was raised for the local St Mary's Church, and all in such a beautiful setting. My congratulations and thanks go to all the local businesses, clubs, groups and people who so generously supported the event, and I am already looking forward to next year."
