Steve Brine attended the Fryern School Fete on Oakmount Road on Saturday 30th June.

The Chandler's Ford MP spent some time chatting to local people, and volunteered to put himself in the 'wet the teacher' stocks to help the school raise money, as well as saying a few words of welcome.

He said: "It is always nice to spend time in Chandler's Ford, and I was pleased that the weather held up, something we really cannot take for granted this year I am afraid.

"Everyone I saw had a lovely time, and I hope the school raised the money they were looking for."
