The Chandler's Ford MP is spending the recess out and about across his wide constituency speaking to residents via a number of street surgeries, booked surgeries and simple door-knocking.
Joined by local councillors, including Cllr Judith Grajewski who represents Hiltingbury West, Steve was able to chat to dozens of local shoppers in the busy precinct, and covered issues such as Europe, gay marriage, Lords Reform, the economy and possible boundary changes.
Steve said: "One of the things I really value about coming over to Chandler's Ford is that I always get a wide range of issues. People always get straight to the point, and it was great to be able to speak to so many people over the lunchtime period."
