Winchester Litterpickers received a warming pit-stop from their local MP during a morning's work in the Fulflood area of the city on Wednesday 27th March.

The group, led by chairman David Jones, organised one of their 'sorties' in the smart Winchester suburb and city MP Steve Brine, whose office is based on Stockbridge Rd, invited them in for tea and biscuits.

Steve said: "I'm always keen to support the Winchester Litterpickers who turn out come rain or shine to help keep our city streets clean and tidy. This was just a chance for me to thank them for their work and to warm them up before they set about their work, which today was in Fulflood. David Jones and his team are a great bunch and it was nice to chat with them as always. I hope local residents noticed a difference after they had swept through."

If you are interested in getting involved with the Winchester Litterpickers, you can contact David on 01962 868806.
