Steve Brine opened the Kings Worthy fete on Saturday 21st September, which also signalled the start of the action-packed Worthys Festival.
The MP, who arrived direct from a packed Fresher's Fair at the University, was joined by his family throughout the afternoon, which took place at Church Green, next to St Mary's Church.
Steve said: "I jumped at the chance to open the fete this year as I really like what Jane and the team have done with the Worthys Festival and will support it in whatever way I can.
"It's bigger than ever this year but remains a local community coming together to have a good time and raise some money for good causes.
"The fete was terrific and, from what I saw, much enjoyed by families young and old. Well done to everyone involved."
