Steve Brine took time out of his schedule on Friday 11th October as he engaged with a group of local residents over a range of important topics.

Steve said: "I am always keen to engage with as many people as possible, and was delighted to have the opportunity to speak and, more importantly, listen on Friday night.

"There was a great range of national questions, including security, the European Court of Human Rights, the forthcoming Scottish referendum, UKIP and HS2. There was also a focus on energy, both in terms of national policy and the vast amount it takes to do this job!

"In addition, I was pleased to discuss local matters such as house-building and, of course, the thorny issue of the leisure centre. I was also able to fill the audience in on my broader work in the House of Commons, especially my work on various All-Party Groups such as Breast Cancer, Autism and Cycling."
