Steve Brine joined up with Fryern Infant and Junior Schools on Friday 14th March as Sustrans led The Big Pedal in a special 'superhero' event.
The Chandler's Ford MP even dressed up as Superman, joining characters such as Batman, Wolverine, and even a Super Mario as the school celebrated cycling and scooting.
The event marked the end of Sustrans' 2 week inter schools competition, and 'Bike It' champions led the kids, and Steve, in parading around the playground on their two wheels.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "What a fantastic event, and I remarked this morning just how great it was to see so many youngsters so enthusiastic about cycling.
"While it was great fun this morning, for me, and this links strongly back to the All-Party Cycling Group report we published last September. This is about children actually wanting to cycle, and having the training and the confidence to do so safely."
