Steve Brine met with new Sparsholt Head Lindsay McCarthy on Friday 28th March, as hegot to know the school, and took a tour, meeting staff and children.
Speaking afterwards, the Winchester MP said: "For one reason or another, this was my first visit to Sparsholt School and what a pleasure it was.
"Lindsay is lovely and clearly relishing her role. This is in many ways everything a small village school should be and I found a happy team with engaging children and friendly members of the teaching staff.
"I invited them to come up to Westminster and hope they will take me up on that before too long."
