Steve Brine opened the St Paul's Community Day on Saturday 10th May, as Fulflood turned out in force to help fundraise for the St Matthew's Church lighting appeal.
After an introduction from Rev Peter Seal, Steve spoke to a large crowd at St Paul's Church, which also included the Mayor and Mayoress of Winchester in their number.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "In May 2010 this was the very first engagement I had after being elected and the family and I have been every year since.
"It was a pleasure to open the event this year and, as I said on the day, I love this community because it's a channel of good work and grace.
"Thank you to Rev Peter Seal and everyone for making us so welcome and special thanks to the man with the model railway who left one little boy in our house mesmerised and inspired."
