Steve Brine met with the Twyford Speedwatch team on Friday 16th May, as he learnt more about their work and search for more volunteers.
The Twyford MP joined the group, led by well-known village volunteer Penny Smith, on the High Street as they monitored traffic speeds into the village by Twyford School, on the way to the crossroads.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "It was great to see this valuable work going on, and while most motorists were driving responsibly, there were sadly a couple of examples of cars going too quickly, which were recorded by the team.
"I know that Penny is looking to expand the team, and will be delighted to hear from anyone interested in helping with this important task, which I saw for myself, really acts as a deterrant."
