Steve Brine popped down to the Kingsgate on Thursday 20th November as Bishop Tim officially switched on this year's Kingsgate Christmas lights.
The MP joined dozens of people at the event, and he then popped into P&G Wells Bookshop for the launch of a new range of books by Penny Ericson and Simon Hawkins of Chemo Cookery Club.
Steve said: "I've said it before and I'll say it again, but Winchester is just THE Christmas city. The switching on of the lights at the Kingsgate was superb and it was fantastic to catch up with Penny and Simon once again."
