Seventeen year old Miriam Levy, from Hyde, has starred in the National Youth Dance Company's Premiere of Used To Be Blonde.

The dance performance, by Sharon Eyal, was held at Sadler's Wells Theatre, and Miriam wrote to Steve to tell him all about it.

She said: "The Premiere encapsulated everything I love about dance and confirmed in my mind that I want to pursue it professionally. Although the applause of 1500 people was incredible, it was even more rewarding to feel that the company came together on stage to produce a piece we were proud of.

"The emotional intensity of Sharon's style meant that I found something within myself that was unique to the experience of the Premiere. I hope more than anything to be able to take this feeling on tour."

Steve Brine said: "It was lovely to hear from Miriam, and I am delighted to help spread the word as I know she is going on tour with the Company in June and July all over the country.

"I am sure she will have a superb time and knock them for six!"
