Steve Brine joined two large teams across the area on Wednesday 8th April as he led campaigning in Hursley, Compton and Alresford.

The Conservative candidate found a lot of support throughout the day, and was able to engage on a range of local issues as well as the wider national picture.

Steve said: "It was a fantastic day, and we were so full of energy able to speak to so many people. What came up time and again was the threat posed by the Scottish nationalists, and what is fair to say is a huge concern about Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon propping up Ed Miliband in No 10."

The day was rounded off with a very well-earned drink in the popular Horse & Groom pub in Alresford. Steve added: "It was nice to have such a positive response and to chat with locals in the pub at the end of a long day."
