Steve Brine visited the 'significantly improved' Toynbee on Friday 4th March to catch up with staff and students at the Chandler's Ford school.
The MP has been impressed by the strides taken by headteacher Matthew Longden and the team, and a recent 'Good' Ofsted report, published last Autumn, said the school has a 'spirit of continual improvement', with staff held to account and a wide range of good training provided.
Steve said: "I was delighted to be able to come back to Toynbee, and boy can I see the improvements made!
"As well as a good catch up with Mr Longden, I was able to hold a special Q&A session for a group of students.
"We covered a lot of ground, including the upcoming EU referendum, the day-to-day life of an MP and most important for me, the subject of mental health, with all the issues around social media and bullying, which I have been working on up in Parliament.
"I am very grateful to the school for being hosted so well, and wish the team and students all the best as they continue to move forward so impressively."
