Steve Brine joined up with local cyclists in the Itchen Valley on Sunday 20th March as he took part in the South Downs Community Cycle Ride.
After starting the event, in Easton, Steve and the riders set off on the two-hour session, which was all organised by Heather Evans of the well-known Bespoke Biking.
Steve said: "What a fantastic turnout, and all congratulations to Heather for pulling this together and asking me to come along and start the event off.
"It was great to see so many people there, including many I know from right across the city, and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did."
