Steve Brine popped into the Guildhall on Thursday 11th May to view the public exhibition of proposed schemes for Station Approach.
One of the two schemes, by Winchester-based Design Engine and London-based Hopkins Architects, will go forward to the City Council's new Cabinet on 19th May, and the Walton Suite exhibition runs until 1pm on Friday 13th May, with an officer available to answer questions about the project and design process.
Steve Brine said: "I was struck by the interest today, and particularly younger residents who had popped in from their lunch break. There was much discussion about the designs themselves, and it was very useful for me to see this before the next stages of the process."
