Friends of the Family are currently looking for volunteers to befriend children aged 5 to 13 for two hours a week.
Friends of the Family is a charity for vulnerable families and their children who live in the Winchester district. It is managed by Trustees and run by professional staff and volunteers. The small, friendly organisation was established in 1993, has assisted more than 200 families.
Local MP Steve Brine is a big supporter of the charity, and said: "This is a superb local charity, who work so hard for local families who really benefit from what they do, and I am delighted to help with this volunteer drive."
